Researchers have made significant strides in solar cell efficiency and stability. A new ligand has been adopted to enhance the efficiency and stability of perovskite quantum dot solar cells, increasing efficiency to 15.3%. Additionally, a new organic semiconductor has been designed for organic solar cells (OSCs), achieving separation between the frontier molecular orbitals and improving efficiency. There's also a new defect passivation strategy for improved power conversion efficiency and stability of perovskite solar cells
